Artemis Mission Tracker · Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Artemis Mission Tracker (“the App”), the Artemis Briefing newsletter and the website artemistracker.app process, why, and what your rights are. We keep data collection to a minimum: the App has no user accounts and does not ask for your name or contact details.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Orbital Momentum AS, org. no. 937 615 094, Dalsveien 54B, 0775 Oslo, Norway. Contact: support@orbitalmomentum.app.

On October 1, 2026, ownership of the App was transferred from Bit Factory AS to Orbital Momentum AS. Nothing about how your data is handled changed as a result.

What we do not do

Public data sources

To show mission data, the App fetches public information from sources such as NASA APIs, NASA AROW, Launch Library 2, the Community Orbit API, RSS feeds and GitHub. These requests do not include personal data, but the providers may see your device’s IP address, as with any internet request.

Legal basis

Under the GDPR we rely on performance of a contract to deliver your subscription and the notifications you ask for, consent for the newsletter and push notifications (you can withdraw it at any time), and our legitimate interest in anonymous statistics that help us improve the App.

How long we keep data

Transfers outside the EEA

Google, RevenueCat and Cloudflare may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, or ask for data portability. Because the App does not know who you are, we may need some help from you to find your data, for example the email address you use for the newsletter or the date of a purchase. Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email, and turn off notifications in your iPhone or Android settings.

If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Children

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
